Systematic Theology: Introduction | What Is It? | An Important Premise | What is the Process? | What are the Requirements? | What are the Benefits?

Study systematically!

By approaching each subject with a comprehensive exegesis of the Bible's teachings, Systematic Theology can:

  • Provide the wisdom to recognize personal sins that may be subtle or entrenched

  • Provide the strength to make the changes to eliminate those personal sins

  • Provide a standard to evaluate new doctrines and theology

  • Provide the joy for genuine personal spiritual growth and the ability to teach others

Systematic Theology should be a work in progress. It is your theory of God that you can test new biblical knowledge against and modify over time. Your system of theology determines your worldview and moral standard, and what you desire is the means of freedom from the power of sin.

Study... Develop... Test... Refine your model... and Repeat your study process...
